Conversations with Pamela

During a research trip to a war zone in Uganda, I compiled a series of conversations recorded with Pamela.

Pamela is a female former child soldier. She was captured and forced to fight in a rebel army. Since her escape at the age of 16, she has grown up to be an aspiring gospel singer.

The project consisted of a video dialogue, postcards and website. Video's have been screened at various venues in the Netherlands, including, WTC caszuidas screen, Afrika dag in Den Haag, and Kunstvlaai 08.
