An artist's guide to the galaxy- HTV#83

HTV #83 consists of contributions about the relation between art and space. For this issue we categorised the contributions into 3 galaxies- The galaxy above, "Understanding the Universe" is made entirely from spices. Designed together with Ghalia Elsrakbi.

Dutch Design Database, Breda

A Dutch Design Database (www.dutchdesigndatabase.com) has been visualised in a beautiful large scale installation at the Graphic Design Museum in Breda. The huge undertaking, which functions as a walk through exhibition from 1945 till now, displays small wall tiles of works from thousands of influential Dutch designers. Originally from South Africa, I am currently working in the field of art and design in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
I completed a Masters in Design at the Sandberg Institute in 2008, and am currently following the research-based Fine Arts Masters programme at the Dutch Art Institute in Enschede, the Netherlands. I am also co-founder of Foundland Collective.
